I help dog guardians who are trying to do the very best for a dog with an ongoing health concern but feel lost in a sea of conflicting advice.
The truth is, i've been exactly where you are now.
When my own dog Hazel was diagnosed with CKD, I spent countless hours researching, joining online groups, comparing advice and trying to work out what was best.
I was trying to do everything right but I still felt overwhelmed, confused and unsure who to trust. What I eventually discovered was that I didn't need more information. I needed the right approach I could tailor to my dog.
That's why I created this 5 Point Guide, to help other dog guardians avoid getting stuck where I did and find a clearer path forward.
✅ More confidence
✅ A plan you can trust
✅ Less time spent wondering what to do next

You can use this guide to turn confusion into understanding and uncertainty into a plan.
I used this same approach to navigate kidney disease with acute pancreatitis in Hazel, my own beloved cocker spaniel. This lived experience forms the foundation of how I support my clients. Now, I'm sharing it with you for free.
Because when you understand these points, it's easier to create a plan that makes sense for the dog in front of you.

"Jo has been absolutely brilliant. Her guidance and support throughout my rollercoaster journey with my dog, Izzy who was diagnosed with kidney disease, has been invaluable. It's been incredibly hard watching my best friend go through this, but Jo has been there every step of the way - helping me to understand vet results, adapt recipes, and make ongoing changes to support Izzy's needs. Kidney disease can be so unpredictable, yet Jo's compassion, knowledge and reassurance have made such a difference to both of us. I cant thank her enough."
